I-H&S Presents Itself at IMTEX Forming 2012 in India

The IMTEX Forming 2012 is one of the most important exhibitions for forming technology in Asia. From 19th to 24th January in 2012 the exhibition took place in Bangalore, India. The IMTEX is a huge marketplace with more than 400 exhibiting companies from all over the world. For I-H&S the IMTEX is of special importance because India has an upcoming economic power and is one of the fastest growing markets worldwide.

Our Indian sales representatives organised a joint stand at IMTEX Forming 2012 with 9 German companies. In Europe or Germany a joint stand at a trade fair is unusual. But companies could take many advantages of this kind of stands. Besides getting in contact with participating German companies there were a lot of opportunities for interesting exchanges of information and experiences as well as options for a future cooperation. Furthermore, customers and visitors of the joint stand partners have the possibility getting first impressions about I-H&S.

All companies of our joint stand at IMTEX operate in the mechanical engineering branch and produce modern sheet metal forming machines. It was our outlined objective to present different parts of the working process of sheet metal forming to our Indian fair visitors. The presented process chain started with sheet metal cutting. It went on with laser machining, bending and fully automatic welding process. Based on the cooperation with the German companies we achieved positive synergetic effects and direct sales at IMTEX.

Mr. Kewin Schad, Managing Director at I-H&S, used the opportunity at IMTEX for visiting our Indian customers, e.g. Profive Engineering Pvt. Ltd. 3 months ago we supplied an overhauled punching machine TRUMPF TC 260R to this customer who is located in Pune.

Altogether, the exhibition IMTEX Forming 2012 was a raving success for us. On the one hand economic aspects and presentation of I-H&S were put forward but on the other hand cultural and interpersonal relations were very important, too. We noticed that rickshaws still are the fastest means of travel in India, especially during rush hour. At Indian trade fairs understatement on the part of exhibiting companies is much more important than magnificent and pompous presentations. Less is more! This matter of fact you can also find in private life of Indian people.

All these interesting contacts and positive synergetic effects we would like to strengthen at BLECH India 2013.
